Yesterday the staff and students at DDW gathered for a special Earth Day Assembly hosted by our amazing EcoTeam. We shared results from our waste audit and heard about the many eco-related initiatives that our school is engaged in. Way to go EcoStars!

This afternoon staff at Dr. David R. Williams PS gathered outside to catch a glimpse of the Solar Eclipse! What an incredible experience.

With the help of Halton Region, Dr. David R. Williams Public School held a waste audit today🗑️♻️🍌. Students sorted school-generated garbage and learned why sorting is important. Look for a video in the near future showing what happened & what students think about being environmental leaders🌱.

This afternoon our DDW staff bundled up and took the learning outside. What a beautiful day for a winter hike!

This morning staff at DDW took part in Learning Carousels connected to our School Improvement Plan. Thank you to our staff facilitators who organized the sessions!

Yesterday our Kindergarten classes at DDW welcomed parents to visit classrooms, enjoy some hot chocolate and take part in a special craft!

Our Youth Well-Being Team at DDW hosted our first ever Wellness Fair today for all classes in Grades 4-6. From mindful colouring and bracelet making to positive affirmations and self-care kits, it was a day filled with self love❤️! HDSB student mental health and well-being
