Looking back at a journey…first starting out in news, I was making NO money. Couldn’t afford new dress shoes so I had to rock the same ones day in & day out. So much so..my dress socks touched the pavement. I kept going. Just telling y’all..stay hustlin. It’ll get better.

Heartbroken to hear about the death of Dr. Paul Farmer. I was inspired to become a physician after I read Mountains Beyond Mountains with wide eyed optimism in college. I had the privilege of meeting him and will always remember him for his kindness, compassion, and empathy. 🙏🏾🙏🏾
