ICYMI: Our President, Jamal Holtz, joined Jim Lokay on Fox5 last night to discuss Trump’s federal takeover of DC and call for DC statehood. Under local leadership, crime is at a 30-year low. This isn’t about public safety, it’s about using our city for political gain.

We are suing to block the federal government takeover of DC police. By illegally declaring a takeover of MPD, the Administration is abusing its temporary, limited authority under the law. This is the gravest threat to Home Rule DC has ever faced, and we are fighting to stop it.

This is a win for Home Rule and a lost for Dictator Donald.
