Some projects go as planned, others fight you the whole way. Mentorbot’s a fighter - it’s 2 steps forward/1.5 back w/ this damn bot. Still, it’s a blast tackling each obstacle. I’m about to 3D print the right rear bumper for the 3rd time… no biggie it’s only a 12 hr print!

BD-1 update: 3D modelled/printed BD-1’s heat sink & head panel. I mocked up the head to see how they looked. I can’t wait to add the OLED panel to the heat sink & LED/wires to the internal panel.

BD-1 build: Spent the day building and coding a DIY logic matrix for the back of BD-1’s head using six MAX7219 8x8 Matrices powered by an Arduino. Can’t wait to sort the rest of this build in 2024!
