A fantastic day knocking doors in Penicuik with this bunch! The state of the NHS came up again and again and again. With 100k people in Scotland waiting *more than a year* for tests or treatment it's small wonder. Only Scottish Labour can turn this around.
A privilege to lay a wreath at the Penicuik War Memorial on behalf of Kirsty McNeill MP, in remembrance of all in Midlothian who made the ultimate sacrifice.
The economy underpins all policy, be it health, education, transport, environment, justice, or housing. The Scottish Government must use its powers to drive growth and investment across Scotland. Looking forward to reading the Muscatelli Report’s findings. Scottish Labour
Great to be in Gala with this team today doorknocking! Plenty of people looking to Scottish Labour as the only party that can fix our economy and NHS after 18 years of SNP government.
Innovation, new ideas and business startups are critical to generating growth and revenues to fund public services. Scottish Labour understands this and will pull every lever to support people's creativity, entrepreneurship and potential.
Hundreds of people every month wait more than 12 hours at A&E at the Borders General Hospital. Patients and NHS staff deserve better. Help Scottish Labour to win in May to do whatever it takes to fix the NHS.
