Smt Sheetal Verma, Director and a team of officers from DCO-UP called on Chairman, Board of Revenue (UP), Sh Anil Kumar (IAS-1989) and Member, Board of Revenue (UP) Shri SVS Ranga Rao (IAS-2001) today and briefed him about the Census-2027 processes and timelines.

A VC with all the 75 District Census Officers (ADM) , Urban and Rural Charge Officers (EOs and Tehsildars) of Uttar Pradesh was conducted by DCO UP team today in coordination with Revenue and Urban Local Bodies Department.

DCO UP State level Census Coordination Committee has been constituted in Uttar Pradesh.

In Gorakhpur district, 110 registrars underwent CRS training, organised by DCO UP, conducted by Dr. Gaurav Pandey , DD and chaired by CMO and Additional Municipal Commissioner. 1/2

The program aimed to enhance understanding, monitoring, and supervision skills, improving accuracy and timeliness of vital statistics, and resolving CRS portal issues for efficient civil registration. 2/2

The recent batch of 50 PCS officers visited DCO UP today for a day long orientation on Census, CAA and CRS. The Appointment Department Uttar Pradesh and the State Training Academy has made Census/NPR/CRS an integral part of training for all Executive Officers. 1/2

Independence Day Celebration in Directorate of Census Operations-UP

The Directorate of Census Operations, Uttar Pradesh, in collaboration with the Health Department, is conducting a two-day Civil Registration System (CRS) training for 1,240 health sector officers from 75 districts and 873 CD blocks.

The recent batch of 51 Deputy Collector /SDM visited DCO UP today for a day long orientation on Census, CAA and CRS. The Appointment Department Uttar Pradesh and the State Training Academy has made Census/NPR/CRS an integral part of training for all Executive Officers.

DCO-UP officials were invited by the Regional Passport Office (RPO), Lucknow for a collaborative session on Birth & Death Registration and Citizenship matters. The session proved to be highly fruitful, fostering constructive dialogue and knowledge-sharing between the two offices.

DCO-UP, is conducting a two-day training program on filling up Verbal Autopsy (VA) forms, Ms. Sheetal Verma, IAS, Director, inaugurated the program, highlighting the importance of Verbal Autopsy in health planning. Training was imparted by Dr Dheeraj, Professor, UPUMS Saifai.

हिंदी पखवाड़ा 2025 का आयोजन जनगणना कार्य निदेशालय, उत्तर प्रदेश में 14 सितंबर 2025 से 30 सितंबर 2025 तक किया गया। कार्यक्रम के अंतिम दिन समापन समारोह आयोजित किया गया, जिसकी अध्यक्षता श्रीमती शीतल वर्मा, आईएएस, निदेशक, जनगणना कार्य निदेशालय, उत्तर प्रदेश ने की।

This training aims to enhance participants' skills in accurately determining causes of death, crucial for Sample Registration System (SRS) work. Ms. Sheetal Verma, IAS, DCO UP, inaugurated the program, highlighting the importance of Verbal Autopsy in health planning. 2/3

Two batches of 49 supervisors (SIG-2, Sr Compilers) each will participate in the training. The training aims to equip participants with the skills to accurately fill up VA forms for determining causes of death in cases without medical certification. 3/3
