BREAKING: The King’s Speech has passed unanimously in the House of Commons. The ceremony took place in the newly restored Lords chamber and was delivered by the Duke of Windsor, standing in for HM, who was uninvited by the government. The new Leader of the Opposition was absent.

🇳🇫 The Prime Minister met with Brazil’s President today to finalise the Norfolk Islands handover to Australia. The ceremony will be held on 6 September 2025 with the President in attendance. The Prime Minister thanked Brazil for its cooperation.

Despite my inability to attend the ceremony, I am quite glad to see that Norfolk Island has been returned to Australian administration.
