In 8th grade I was going out for football until a teacher told me, “You should go out for cross country, you might be good at it.” At that point in my life, telling me I could be good at something was all it took. I’m grateful for that teacher, my first CC coach, at his passing.

A summer read in honor of the 50th anniversary of the first girls HS state cross country meet in Minnesota. Thx to Dennis Barker for a great companion to the river Road!

Hiking between & around the villages of Devon & Cornwall on the Southwest Coastal Path, sampling the local food & ales, meeting the friendly people was an amazing time.

Was out for a country stroll & discovered this gem on the side of the road.

The best thing about the end of summer is the start of Cross Country.

Kind of a wacky meet this year with a shortened course due to a hornet’s nest & girls called off the course mid-race due to a storm but the ⁦Nova Classical Academy⁩ boys took care of business in the 28 team field.

Today our ⁦Nova Classical Academy⁩ boys won their 11th straight conference title. Girls finished 3rd, their 12th straight top 3 finish!

.Nova Classical Academy boys win the section championship & Isabel wins the girls individual title!

This team seems to have fun whatever they do, including the state meet course preview today.

The Nova Classical Academy boys finished 4th in the Minnesota State High School League State Class A Cross Country Championships today! Benaiah finished 10th individually & Isabel finished 4th individually in the girls Championship! 6 out of the 8 Nova runners ran PRs today!

This is really good stuff
