I expected more from this episode, seriously. Unlike most people, I enjoyed ep. 13, it was executed very well. Yet, ep. 14 last week felt a bit underwhelming. I'm not into snappy, old-fashioned movements any longer, I didn't ask for Shinya Ohira to contribute on Daima, but...

My suspictions were correct. I did actually spot Yamamuro, and is surprisingly SO MUCH BETTER here than he was 10 years ago. That character acting on Gomah was definitely veery smooth, might be Ryo Onishi's cut.

Normally, when a new transformation occurs, the first impression follows the character sheets. Yet, in this case, we got a back and forth of Yamamuro correcting the Super Saiyan 4ish, and someone replicating Toriyama's famous drawing. They did pick Yama like on SSG and UI.

Ep. 19 of Daima can be viewed as Takahashi's long-time dream of supervising a DB product alongside one of his idols, one of his primary inspiration sources. Yamamuro has definitely been carrying these final episodes, he surely left 2010s behind. Takahashi is the show's chameleon.
