I just listened to the Nonhuman Rights Project Project argue for elephants’ right to liberty from unjust confinement before the Colorado Supreme Court. The justices were tough, but the arguments were compelling, and win or lose it felt like a potentially historical moment.

With a growing human population to feed, we MUST transition away from animal farming if we want to create a sustainable future.
