This week during the safety blitz CHSP members explained and demonstrated the importance of sliding, walking or rolling heavy packages to prevent lifting and lowering injuries to UPSers in the Irreg department. Thank you all for your participation.

Wellness Wednesday for this week was centered on Hula Hoop for Health. A few of our UPSers showed off their skills and how to use those core muscles. Thank you all for a successful Wellness Wednesday!

We had some fun celebrating St. Patrick’s Day by handing out lollipops to UPSers & playing a fun game of find the leprechaun. Those that found the leprechaun in their area got his pot of gold. Thanks to all & Congrats to the lucky and observant pot of gold recipients.

Recognition time! Haslet Day Sort Leadership recognized PT Supervisor Tressa Wilson for her unparalleled commitment to excellence in DMP. She has run a tight ship and has been recognized as having the best set up auditors have seen. Congratulations Tressa! Keep up the great work!

This week’s Safety Blitz CHSP members explained and demonstrated the benefits and methods of preserving the curve of your back to prevent lifting and lowering injuries. A prize was given to those who could explain and demonstrate the following day. Thank you all and keep it up!

Wellness Wednesday - CHSP members explained the Benefits of Adding Fruit to Water. Employees enjoyed some refreshing and beneficial fruit water as they entered.

Shout out to these UPSers for getting caught working safely! Bradley was using existing equipment. Rico was bending at the knees. Daiveion was using hand to surface. Zach was caught utilizing his unload stand. Thank you all and keep working safely!

Recognition time!! PD2 recognized employees who had Perfect Attendance for the month of March! Shout out to Luke, Preston, Dalton and David!! Way to go and keep it going!!

This week CHSP visited PD4 to explain and demonstrate how to handle heavy packages and objects to prevent lifting and lowering injuries. Those who could explain and demonstrate back to us the following day received a prize. Way to go and keep it up!

CHSP meeting was a successful one! We touched on key concerns throughout the hub & implemented a plan of action to get them corrected. We are small but mighty. One voice one team, we will get it done, & get it done safely. Thank you all who attended, we can’t do it without you!
