Visited Pashupatinath Mandir yesterday with a friend. It was surprising to see so many local photographers capturing moments and charging Rs. 20 per photo, with a minimum of 5 photos! The photos were quickly shared via Airdrop. Impressive entrepreneurial spirit!

Every day, there is news of death due to road accidents. While airplane crashes receive wide coverage, fatalities from road accidents outnumber them significantly. The government should declare road accidents a national crisis and address them accordingly. #roadcrash #Nepal

Sad reality of #WomenInDiplomacy in Nepal. Only 1 female ambassador, if there aren’t any other in the remaining four posts. We need more women & indigenous people in diplomacy, at the table, as active contributors and decision makers to truly reflect the diversity of our nation.

Embassy of Nepal, Spain was est. in 2018. None of its 3 ambassadors (myself included) got to complete our tenures. But I suppose at least this time the ambs can inform their host Ministry who their successor will be during their farewell call. Best wishes to all nominated ambs.
