M came home and wanted to show me some websites she had been using at school. The two website in the pictures, Telling the time and Money. We sat together and she happily showed me what she had to do 🙂 @EllieHernMCA Mayflower Academy

M has challenged her boundaries and achieved so much this half term. > she’s become more confident in the swimming pool including jumping in. > she’s touched, held and fed animals which isn’t something she’s ever done due to her fear of animals. @EllieHernMCA Mayflower Academy

M and I had a great time at Mayflower Academy for the Music and Art Festival. To see the creativity and accomplishment of the children’s art work from all years was amazing. Also we enjoyed listening to the North Prospect Community Choir, Blokes Who Sing and MCA choir. What a great evening 😀

Back into a nightly routine for M. She loves a bit of spelling shed, followed by reading before lights out. :) we try to mix up which apps she uses each night due to time restrictions. But spelling shed and bug club always win. Sarah Murphy Mayflower Academy

Nice after school activity to attend with M & E. We spent 45 minutes exploring the different station to create different poppies for remembrance day. Two paint covered girls had lots of fun. Thank you Mayflower Academy David Sammels

M tackling spelling shed. Taking the time to figure out ways to help her remember the spellings. She’s figured she can break them down into 3 smaller sections, then as she spells, she’s repeating the three sections to help her. Sarah Murphy Mayflower Academy

Amazing parents evening for M today. To know she’s doing so well and achieving beyond the benchmark makes me proud. M has thrived since starting at Mayflower Academy, she’s been super lucky to have such brilliant teachers over last 4yrs to help shape her love for learning.
