Indictments are in from Grand Jury regarding Downtown Cincinnati brawl. All 6 arrested & charged by Cincinnati Police are indicted for 3 cts Felonious Assault; 2 cts Aggravated Riot; 3 cts Assault; If convicted on all counts, they face 29.5 yrs in prison+$58K in fines. Local 12/WKRC-TV

Cincinnati Police have arrested 7th person for downtown riot/assault/fight on 7/26. Gregory Wright, 32, from Avondale, booked into Hamilton Co Jail at 4:29 pm today, charged with Aggravated Riot, Agg Robbery for alleged role in fight that broke out on 4th Street. Local 12/WKRC-TV

One of defendants in downtown brawl now also faces federal firearms charge. Federal grand jury has indicted Montanez Merriweather for illegally possessing firearm as previously convicted felon. Indictment says on 7/2, 3 wks before brawl. He faces up to 15 yrs in prison. Local 12/WKRC-TV

FBI, DEA in Cincinnati announcing indictments of 4 companies and 25 people in int’l drug conspiracy. They allegedly imported to US drugs used to cut fentanyl, increasing yield and potency. 2 suspects arrested in Dayton. 1 is at large in US, the rest are in China. Local 12/WKRC-TV
FBI Director Kash Patel says the Justice Dept is done playing “Whack-a-Mole” with drug importers and dealers. Along with indictments of 4 companies and 25 individuals, it confiscated enough fentanyl to kill 70 million people. 3 people are from US, the rest from China Local 12/WKRC-TV
