Good to meet Dr. Kuyok Abol Kuyok, 🇸🇸 Education Minister, who's using his knowledge from a PhD in education at IOE, UCL's Faculty of Education & Society 🇬🇧. We discussed how to build on the achievements from 10+ years of 🇬🇧 support for education in 🇸🇸, & the need for more South Sudan Government funding for schools.

Today the United Nations Security Council renewed the South Sudan sanctions regime to support peace and security, including by stopping weapons from getting to those perpetuating violence. The UK supports the 2018 Peace Agreement, the best way to alleviate suffering in South Sudan.
