There are no moats in crypto. Anything can change overnight. Once someone groks a seed phrase the switching costs are negligible.

Change happens fast. Solana now rivals or surpasses Ethereum across: - DEX Volumes - NFT Volumes - Active Addresses - Transaction Count - Stablecoin Transfers “But Solana isn’t decentralized 😤” Reality: Solana has ~40% the amount of nodes as Ethereum, they’re only ~5x more

Admirable effort but exercise caution in using a wallet that doesn't come from a verifiable author and with an audit. Not trying to take anything away from REKTBuildr here, but there's risk everyone should be aware of.

I actually can not believe that I community notes'd Jamie Dimon, Gary Gensler, and Elizabeth Warren in the past 10 days lmao there is no way this is not a simulation

Luigi D'Onorio DeMeo I think the primary problem was "influencers" pitching Ethereum as everything under the sun, i.e. subsume Bitcoin and every other trust-function crypto has to offer - "all roads lead to Rome" - without appreciating what the engineering limits of such a model was.

Luigi D'Onorio DeMeo Ethereum has a number of remarkable pieces of tech, though today somewhat disparate and disconnected. A lot of these already offer so much, and being the largest ecosystem with the largest network effects, there's a lot to leverage. But the narrative needs to be grounded.

Luigi D'Onorio DeMeo With a grounded assessment, should be quite clear there are in fact different ways to build systems, yielding different outcomes/properties. Ethereum's design can't lead to being "best in everything", i,e can't offer what Solana/Avalanche offers. But can be really good at some.

AVAX is the most egalitarian thing we've ever seen. it's insanely ambitious, and if it works, can really reshape the fabric of society

shower thought: all the existing web3 world (including eth, sol, sui, etc.) could have been built on Avalanche — fixing *almost* all current headaches, such as interoperability, isolation, speed, etc. still not too late if you ask me

A lot of talk about Solana (justified) and Rollups (justified), but don’t sleep on AVAX in 2024. Top performer this month, second best performer of 2023 out of the top ten assets, deeply enmeshed in the RWA space via Project Guardian.

The simple mind can't comprehend walking and talking at the same time. This is the real 𝘣𝘶𝘪𝘭𝘥 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 meme.

As a commentator in this industry, perhaps you can start by putting a little more time in understanding things before critiquing, like not incorrectly stating that the foundation is investing $100 million on memes.
