I regret some of my posts about President Donald J. Trump last week. They went too far.

Earlier this week the Democratic lawmaker who was killed broke ranks with her party and voted to repeal a law giving public health insurance to illegal aliens. She was the only Democrat to join Republicans in backing the measure.
