[Preprint alert 🚩] We are glad to share our latest preprint. In this paper, we shown that uncharacterized members of LysM-RLKs LYRI-B display high affinity binding for LCOs and short/long COs and are required for AM establishment. biorxiv.org/content/10.110…

Check out our new study published in Current Biology through collaboration with the Giles Oldroyd group. We discovered chitin signaling is essential for AMF symbiosis and, for the first time, identified a higher order LysM-RLK mutant that blocks AMF colonization in M. truncatula.

Congratulations to Feng Feng and Giles E D Oldroyd 🏳️‍🌈 groups for advancing our understanding of symbiotic signaling. Thanks to landry david in our team for characterizing the LysM-RLK short/long CO binding sites.

Check out the video made by TULIP students in collaboration with LRSV. They studied AMF-associated bacteria and their impact on phosphorus nutrition for mycorrhized plants. Congrats! youtu.be/eLQE1wN5tsg?si…

Proud to share our spotlight out in Molecular Plant & Plant Communications, co-written with landry david . This commentary highlights the molecular activity of E3 ligases in the regulation of RLKs fate and RLK-dependent signaling through polyubiquitination. doi.org/10.1016/j.molp…

This spotlight comments on the recent phospho-dependent functional switch of E3 ligases, regulating the two RLKs, LjNFR1/5 and OsCERK1, in the context of symbiosis/immunity. doi.org/10.1016/j.molp… doi.org/10.1038/s41586…

Now, Kasper Andersen‘s team showed (very nicely imo) that Lotus EPP1s bind to the phosphorylated tail of activated SYMRK and then get phosphorylated by SYMRK. Lotus EPP1 mutants don’t form nodules. #ENFC2025
