As I head home today I am reminded that politics doesn’t need to be divisive; nasty, bitter and hatred filled. I’ve had an absolute blast at my first Liberal Democrats party conference and I say gently to folk who are scunnered with toxic politics, there is an alternative out there. 🤷‍♂️

There comes a point in politics, when certain politicians are on the rise or in power, when many political journalists are too cowardly to offend them, & scared even to ask the obvious, duty-bound questions, & are almost self-bullied. Maybe we've reached that point with Reform?

As with so many, I am horrified by what we have seen unfold in Manchester today. Stand with all those affected.
