Back from my recent mission, UN Women Afghanistan and its partners are delivering for the women of Kandahar, from assisting forced returnees to piloting women-focused entrepreneurship and pursuing new entry points to reach women in need.

Yesterday in Brussels with Alison Davidian, I was again inspired by our photo exhibition with UN Women highlighting the strength and resilience of Afghan women and girls. We cannot abandon them; they must be able to fully and meaningfully participate in all aspects of Afghan life.
