When are they going to start re-releasing classic live action movies in animated form? Pirates of the Caribbean, first a ride, then a movie, now in stunning 2D—with a re-re-release in 3D animation next year.

I don’t think I would have phrased it this way, but I might be guilty of this.

Something I noticed the other day. No fireworks stands. Every year, for the last many years June has had an ever increasing number of tents in parking lots. Every June has sounded more like a war zone at night leading up to July 4th… But not this year.

I’m not embarrassed at all that as a kid one of my favorite shows was a kid’s show. Saturday morning. No school, but get up for the cartoons. Truly good times. I still kind of want a sleestak costume. (Also some scripts by Niven, Sturgeon, Gerrolds, Bova, etc.)

It’s not bad unless Baby shows up.

Some would say, "Why not just let him in?" and anyone that drives for a living would say, "Why couldn't he have merged 2 miles ago when the sign said right lane closed ahead?"

It’s worth pointing out that the people trying to improve their place in line by not orderly merging are the reason traffic comes to a stop.

It’s wild how this is an obvious answer to just about everybody. .. but there are two camps as to what the obvious answer is.

From what I’ve heard, this is either cheating or not, depending on whether it was called a drop with a penalty stroke. I’m sharing it because it reminds me very much of a whole chapter in a James Bond novel. Goldfinger, I think, which went into great detail about such caddies.
