Great to see the Government agree to establish a Just Transition Commission, following the recommendations of the JT Taskforce.

The Commission will be a critical institution in sustaining a social licence to deliver net zero and help ensure communities aren't left behind.

I'm so proud today to officially announce, with Minister Darragh O'Brien, Ireland's eighth and largest national park: Páirc Náisiúnta na Mara, Ciarraí. With the Conor Pass as its gateway, our first marine national park will see this iconic place protected for future generations.

Finally I joined my colleague Cllr. David Healy and the Howth Access Group at Aideen's grave and on a boat trip with Mairéad Stack of NPWS to watch seabird colonies around Ireland's Eye.
