In 1986, a Brazilian delegation arrived in China to test the Chinese F-7M Airguard type. China offered 30 F-7M aircraft with training and spare parts for U$160. Then Argentina also tested the Chinese MiG-21 in 1987. It received an offer for 24. None of the deals materialized.

BTR-60PB, rarely seen during Syrian Civil War used by Jaysh al-Izza/جيش العزة (Army of Glory) in southern Idlib Governorate, March 28th, 2017. Unknown if it was supplied by Türkiye or taken from Syrian stocks.

Thanks to TheEasternArchive, I have access to “Afghanistan Today” by Mahmud Baryalali (DRA) and Genrikh Polyakov, published by Planeta Publishers in 1981! The pictures are not accompanied with informative captions so I will be sending them in the form of a collage.

David.Det Hi David, These are from a series of photos. They were taken at Brak airport in inner Libya. At the time, three Libyan flying high schools with Czechoslovak trainer personnel were using the L-39. This type also flew for a short time in Chad, but these photos were not taken there

[Thread] It’s been awhile since I have posted, now I’m back! Anyway- with the ongoing border dispute between Thailand and Cambodia, patriots on both sides have took to TikTok posting many videos of military equipment, one of which caught my my eye :

Historical thread 🧵 (1/11) Sudanese forces in Yemen 4 Sudanese SU-24s, these operated from Saudi Arabia. They saw very little service only 2 of 4 flew in combat and accounted for under 1% of sorties flown in 2015 they left the theater afterwards.
