Just watched a video with some unsolicited "advice" telling marathon runners they shouldn't enjoy a post-race beer. My immediate thought? Shut up, Karen! These athletes just ran 26.2 miles, they deserve a cold one (if they want it!). 💪🍺

I’m pretty sure my marathon strategy involves 90% running and 10% strategically locating photographers for the perfect action shot. Priorities right?! Anyone else agree that striking a power pose for the race photographers is a crucial part of the marathon experience?

This moment still haunts me… Shouting "We're halfway there!" at the NYC Marathon and being met with absolute silence. Apparently it was for my ears only 🤪 I guess everyone was in their zone & my solo Bon Jovi moment? Wasted.

I had COMPLETELY forgotten about this. Lightning struck twice! Thanks to everyone who saw my New York City Marathon rejection therapy and reminded me of the same thing happening at the London Marathon 🤣

Part 22 | Where do you stand on high fiving spectators on race day? Do you agree with Performance Physique that they are a powerful thing during a marathon and/or do you agree with me, that sometimes you just gotta focus on yourself at certain moments?

Part 23 | When it comes to memorable clients, Performance Physique says it is a wide range from those who run super fast and those who achieve goals they never thought possible…

Part 24 | Running isn’t easy. Everyone knows that, but there is something so incredibly rewarding about fighting those mental demons and winning as Performance Physique and I discuss…

Part 27 | How important is rest & recovery for marathon runners during their training, and what should we be looking to eat and drink after each training run? Performance Physique explains…

Give up? Nah. I dusted myself off & completed my first marathon six months later. Now, three and a half years later, I’ve crossed the finish line at 12 marathons, including the six world marathon majors 💪

Me, casually mentioning I enjoy running and cycling: 🏃‍♀️🚴‍♂️ Stranger: “Oh, cool! How many triathlons have you done?” My brain: Zero. Zilch. Nada. Anyone else get this?! Apparently, enjoying two sports automatically qualifies you for an Ironman in the eyes of others. Maybe one day?

Running is not just about getting a workout in; it's about disconnecting from the world and reconnecting with yourself. It's a moving meditation, a chance to clear your head, problem-solve, or simply enjoy the quiet. No distractions, no pressure—just you and the open road

Not every run feels good. Not every session goes to plan. But every time you show up, you’re building something. Progress doesn’t come from perfect conditions — it comes from consistency. Lace up. Put the work in. The rewards will follow.
