We head to Cedar Rapids tonight to take on traditional power Cedar Rapids Xavier in a JV/V contest. JV first pitch at 5, varsity to follow.

Next Tuesday night, July 9th, we will host a 2nd round playoff game at 7 PM. Spread the word and fill up the park. We had absolutely outstanding crowds when we hosted last year, and our boys deserve for that to happen again!

Raiders win 14-1 in 5 innings to advance to the 3rd round of the postseason. We will take on Mediapolis on Saturday night.

For the 2nd year in a row, we will be hosting a district final. Mediapolis will come to town Saturday night at 7 PM. Tickets must be purchased online at the link below. iahsaa.org/tickets/

Jackson Watters walkoff home run wins it for the Raiders in the bottom of the 7th by a score of 6-4. Your Raiders are back-to-back district champs, and advance to the substate final for the 4th time in program history (1978,1979,2023,2024). Carter Kuehl adds a 2-run bomb as well.

Anamosa wins second consecutive district baseball championship as Jackson Watters delivers walk off and game winning two-run home run in the bottom of the seventh to take 6-4 final over a very pesky Mediapolis team. Raiders advance to substate final Tuesday, July 16.

Anamosa baseball team travels to Manchester tonight battling for a class 2A state tournament berth against No. 8 ranked Sumner-Fredericksburg. First pitch of the substate final (the Raiders’ second consecutive appearance in the contest) is set for 7 pm.

The DMACC Baseball team will open up Region 11 Tournament play this Thursday at noon. The Bears earned the 5th seed in this years tournament and will take on 4th seeded Ellsworth at Merchants Park at Carroll, IA.

Tryout dates for new players will be confirmed tonight.
