FINALLY! Our power came on shortly after 9PM.

I was following news closely and it was scheduled for 11.

I'm already warming up the house and enjoying the luxury of running water again!

Update, Eclipse Day: Still no power! Fridge running on solar backup generator just fine.

The eclipse will cut sunlight I need to the panels. So I'm getting ready to do a chicken cookout!

The grill is up and running. Without wind, no worries M8!

Just as an update, there are still massive outages all over Boulder and outlying regions.

We still have no solid updates on when this will turn around.

I've got everything covered and it's like the 1800s, but with a solar generator and a fireplace!

I'm up after my first sleep cycle. I've never felt the house this cold! Thankfully it will all be over soon.

This is quite the blackout challenge! Thanks for all your support! At least I don't have to worry about the items in the refrigerator warming up!

Just as a friendly update:

We are out of power until noon tomorrow in very high winds. The house is holding its temperature well.

I heated the downstairs room before the power went off and it is very nice in there. I'm going in!
