Great to speak to BBC York Joanita Musisi this morning about St Leonards Hospice, its work and 40th anniversary. Tonights event at York Minster is a chance to say thank you to our incredible community for their steadfast support over the years.

A bit of time between St Leonards Hospice events today. A wander around my favourite York Museums Trust museum, caught the sun in York, popped into the St Leonards Hospice Colliergate shop thatās about to be refit and chilled with coffee at Pret. Not a bad way to spend a couple of hours!

Always a pleasure to spend time with this man. Huge thank you for coming all the way to York to help us celebrate St Leonards Hospice 40th.

Credit to Teesside International Airport. I usually dread airport pickups but this is amazing! Easy parking, cheap making almost free coffee! Nice to say hello to the Mayor Ben Houchen who was working at the airport at this time on a Saturday morning too!

Hi Yorkshire Water š§. Before you put the hosepipe ban in, thereās yet another water leak in Strensall. Seems like youāre having lots of problems in York this year. ///suspends.changes.burst

On Tuesday I talked so much Joanita Musisi didnāt have a chance to ask me the question about our garden. This is what Iām most proud of. I canāt take any credit for them but the alliums are beautiful this year š

The new Lord Mayor of York is Martin Rowley and the Sheriff City of York Council is Paul Doughty #Oyez š Amazing day welcoming the new civic party, and an exciting year ahead!

Hiā¦RSPCA (England & Wales). As a trusted source on information on animal welfare you have any advice for the public and MPās on how this vote should go?ā© petition.parliament.uk/petitions/7005ā¦

Big thank you to Trinity Hospice shop in Bispham today. A badly planned trip to the seaside saved by a nice warm jumper and a smiling shop volunteer š
