Let’s close all the ticket offices. Every ticket is available online anyway. Right? This is one ticket. Anyone guess what it is?

Humans learn by consuming content (text/images…) most, while public, is copyrighted. Will we ban machines from doing the same? Is machine learning dead? Or rather, will the west shoot itself in the foot when it comes to exploiting AI? Misplaced panic? CogX Festival Day 1 Done!

Visited the @ElecHighway forecourt at Gatwick Airport today. Finally a place where electric car charging in feels special and not a car park. Well done! For balance the expensive car lift is a bit extravagant.

Like most people we pay a fixed direct debit each month to our energy company which means in the winter we rack up a big debt which finally pays back in the early autumn. After fitting solar last November, we have, in March, already broken even (almost)!

Today I was in Open Data Institute and was excited to see my colleagues testing the new and revamped digital tools I’ve been working on to help responsible data practice’s. Feedback was very positive! Excited to show them to the world next week at #digigov

My take on today’s news. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…. Working from home makes location of main office meaningless for many. Why not have many smaller mixed department offices in locations where needed to perform specific functions?

My take on today’s news. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…. “Siri, play BBC Radio 4”. Oh wait no you can’t, ok I’ll go for LBC I guess. All this talk of “one platform to rule them all” is bullshit. Get your content to consumers, don’t try and force them to you!
