If this experiment gets run, I think it’s unlikely to work. Muscle loss>side effects>discontinuation of drug>fat regain>worse body composition>worse glucose disposal/diabetes>poor healthspan/lifespan.

I spent most of Dec producing the audio version of Moving the Needle. It went live on Audible on Christmas Eve and has bumped up to number 1 in Climbing and Mountaineering best sellers. Thanks for all your personal messages about the book. Glad to hear the ideas are resonating!

Happy New Year everyone! Here's a riddle to kick off the new year. How can an article about the rise in hospitalisations for nutrient deficiency, particularly B12 and iron, not mention the rise of veganism and anti-meat sentiment?

LOL. Try taking away a bodybuilders ice cream and pizza one hour after stage day and there is something to be learned about whether their diet provides fat loss *and* satiety.

Food production is so critical for life, health and security. The UK government does appear to grossly underestimate the consequences of making farming so unappealing as a way of life. We’ll all pay more than what they squeeze in short term cash.

Some personal news: I was made redundant from UKClimbing as Editor-in-Chief after 10 years in the company. I'll continue my freelance journalism, but I'm also open to part/ full-time reporting/writing/editing opportunities. RTs much appreciated. Thank you! natalie-berry.com

This was the case for me. Most of the health issues I resolved with carnivore diets, I can reliably bring back with just vegetables.

The point is, when one has only poor short term data, one might be cautious about using it to build a long term model at all. This is repeating the same mistakes that has already damaged public health nutrition so much.

Yes You draw a line on your virtual map of where you want the fence to be There is a zone of a few metres towards that where the collar warns them with sound that the boundary is approaching Once trained the sound becomes a fence and they always turn back See clip

US proportional spending. Look at health care vs groceries. One wonders what will happen to actual health outcomes if the shift continues in the same direction?
