Of all the former Gwinnett Stripers starting pitchers to make it to Atlanta over 15-plus years, there’s no question Max Fried has delivered the biggest moments in Braves history.

Transactions can still affect the Gwinnett Stripers roster, even though our season ended September 22. Possible that Brebbia could report to the “stay hot” camp at Coolray Field, but I imagine he stays physically with the Braves.

A season that starts in March comes down to the final Monday in September, with the hopes of playing in October hanging in the balance.

Given how all of 2024 went, kind of figured today was going to get weird. But congrats to the #Braves, they have another shot in the Postseason.

In 2024, Bryce Elder was just the 7th pitcher in Gwinnett Stripers history to notch 10-plus wins in a season. Now he's the 4th Gwinnett starting pitcher to earn an International League Postseason All-Star award, joining Julio Teheran (2011), Kyle Muller (2022), and Allan Winans (2023).

It’s hard just getting to the MLB Postseason, it’s challenging to advance, and incredibly difficult to win it all. You never know when it’s going to be your year, but ultimately this one was not. Rest up and get healthy #Braves. See you in 2025.

Drake Baldwin wastes no time getting things going in the MLB's Arizona Fall League. His first swing is a 106 mph double to the left-center gap off an 87 mph changeup.
