I enjoyed The War Within infinitely more than the last two expansions. It was not perfect. It's story suffered from a 360° mid-expansion and was plagued by bits of toothless ass millennial writing but I never found a reason to stop playing like in Shadowlands or Dragonflight.

It's just such a damning statement and it's been on display since Dragonflight. The game being made and the game the developers want to make is not the one I grew up with. By taking this route they're only going to alienate the one audience that they still have. Blizz, stop it.
