Very strange how ISIS seems to be focused on attacking Russia and Iran instead of their supposed greatest enemies in the west, isn't it?

Westerners do not stand a chance against Russia in war because they have destroyed their own countries. They could have all the money in the world, print as much as they want, and still they would lose. The truth is, a civilization steeped in guilt has already capitulated.

If not used as they were provided, an authoritarian government will, without question, remove these limitations upon their control. If so, Americans will have proved themselves unworthy bearers of such clairvoyant safeguards against tyranny, and therefore, freedom itself.

In my opinion, the primary purpose of the first and second amendments is as a means of forming an armed resistance against an authoritarian government. They are a dead man switch, a license of revolution issued to the masses, and a terminal threat to the powerful.

'Seeing is believing' The result of homogenous, high-trust societies. The more diverse and multicultural things get, the more this fragile social fabric frays. Eventually, people lose any sense of communal ownership, collective effort, and therefore find no point in preserving it for their own.
