What we are *not* going to do is let Trump use this as an excuse to extend the life of coal plants. There are so many other solutions available to us when it comes to our grid, including #RenewableEnergy POLITICO open.spotify.com/episode/1yK24n…

🚨 The LA Freedom Caucus remind citizens that they the right to hit protesters with their cars…. This is the same violent rhetoric that got people killed in Charlottesville. We have to shut this all the way down. Make it make sense. #lalege #lagov

The land where our ancestors were enslaved is now home to toxic industries that heavily pollute Black and Brown communities. This isn’t just history—it’s ongoing harm. It’s time to make it right. #Juneteenth #CancerAlley #EnvironmentalJustice 📷 Giles Clarke/Getty Images

There’s a lot that happens behind the scenes to make sure your lights turn on with the flip of a switch. And someone has to make sure those processes are fair. It was great to talk to @gnoha #PutHousingFirst radio to speak on it! on.soundcloud.com/9IGaTSxvbF1qU7…

Frivolous Liz at it again. Instead of spending so much time on theses political gotcha topics, you should fight for the people. Insurances companies, big banks, big corporations, & those who take advantage of consumers are sitting there, but Bernie Sanders bothers you

Because of the heat wave, some fossil fuel power plants are being allowed to exceed pollution limits. Leaning on fossil fuels creates a feedback loop: The more natural gas & coal are burned for energy, the more carbon pollution contributes to warming. bit.ly/46fpBO9

I hoped that today we would see a clear ruling — one that affirms democracy, upholds the Voting Rights Act, and says unequivocally that Black voters in Louisiana are entitled to fair maps & full representation. Instead #SCOTUS has re-calendarized this case for the next term:

#ICYMI Entergy New Orleans, which for decades has been the city's sole energy provider, has sold its natural gas business toDelta Utilities who could be sending you a bill. 📬 It's not spam! 📬 Customers will now receive two different bills. axios.com/local/new-orle…

The big ugly bill, signed into law last week, guts federal #cleanenergy funding and is expected to raise electricity prices, worsen pollution and public health, and destroy jobs. State-level advocates and policymakers can learn about the bill’s impacts: bit.ly/4llj4q3
