We had a great Schloss Dagstuhl seminar this week gathering to discuss resource-efficient ML. Many thanks to my co-organizers (Peter Pietzuch, Matthias Boehm, Ana Klimovic, Oana Balmau) and all the participants!

The keynote will be about "How to Do Research for Fun and Profit" by Divesh Srivastava (AT&T), and the panel will be about "Success in Ph.D. Journey" by Mohammad Javad Amiri (Stony Brook University), Anthony Tung (National University of Singapore), and Eleni Tzirita Zacharatou 🦋 @elenitz.bsky.social (IT-Universitetet).

It's been 5 years since I finished my Ph.D. Some lessons were learnt and I am now happy to share my views on how to make the Ph.D. journey a successful one VLDB 2024 PhD Workshop (August 26), in Guangzhou, China.
