🕊 On 5 Aug 2025, the remains of 22 Yazidi genocide victims were returned to their families & laid to rest in Sinjar, after ceremonies in Solagh & Kocho. Since 2019, 297 victims have been identified & buried — the search for the rest continues.

18 years ago today—August 14, 2007 Al-Qaeda carried out one of the deadliest attacks against Yazidi villages in Tal Azir & Siba Sheikh Khidr. Hundreds were killed. Many remain missing. The trauma still echoes. We remember. We mourn. We won’t forget. #YezidiGenocide
