That was a lot of fun! The Thursday Murder Club. Great cast, good story, wonderful combination of mystery and fun. A typical British movie of the bygone age. More please!!

Also watched Flight Risk, new to Prime Video. There's a good movie in there somewhere, but an average script and a feeling of it being a cheap movie let's it down. Bizarre role for Mark Wahlberg. OK for Saturday night movie whilst drinking wine, by the bottle 🤣

Last night's movie was Thunderbolts on Disney+ Some fun bits to enjoy (the limo chase etc) but can't say the final segment really did it for me - felt very underwhelming. Not bad, they clearly tried for something different with this one.

Funnily enough I can honestly say I've never used any of those food delivery services. Mostly because, in the past, living in the middle of nowhere limited the options!

September for me is 1950s sci-fi movie month!! I'm looking forward to watching some classics & some not so classics of the genre. Aliens, monsters & mad scientists, see how many you recognise from the DVD/Blu-ray pictures! Keep Watching The Skies 😱👽🛸👾

Morning well 30 years ago today my life changed it was a dream that I had wanted as a child. To hear "and now the new World champion Fraaaaaaank Bruno" it was the greatest feeling ever. My life has never been a smooth pathway but that Night at Wembley was one of a few special hi

Last night's 50s sci-fi movie was Flight To Mars (1951) Actually a fun movie (terrible film print with crackles & jumps 😱) although they really should have made some attempt to make the Martians look at least a little alien, a la Star Trek with a nose ridge or something 😂

At the age of 15, Labour don’t trust you with an energy drink. However, when you turn 16, Labour will deem you responsible enough to vote. 🥴

Last night's 50s sci-fi movie was the classic The Day The Earth Stood Still Truly wonderful movie, great cast, great story and a giant robot - what more do you need?

Yet more sequels, reboots, remakes and uninspired entertainment. Be bold, take a risk & make original content? Easier said than done in a business that puts safe above originality more and more these days.

Watched final episode of Countdown on Prime TV. Excellent but ended on a cliffhanger with the whole story unresolved let alone the fate of a key character. Got to hope it gets renewed or that's a rotten way to end it 😒🤬

Last night's 50s sci-fi movie was Attack of the Crab Monsters. A Roger Corman special featuring giant mutant land crabs who absorb their victims (or some such silliness). All great fun

Last night's 50s sci-fi movie was War of The Worlds - not that long since I last watched this but its one of those movies that lends itself to repeated viewing. Amazing and iconic special effects and sound effects (the Martian death ray!) - brilliant movie.

So glad I didn't pay to watch that rubbish #England #ENGAND Not sure I blame the players, not easy to play against a team that comes to park the bus. Hardly a game of football, these qualifiers are just not worth watching. I cheered at the end, just because it was over 😂
