A topics from yesterday's live show that had a lot of opinions. I still feel like UTSA getting their lick back against TXST carries significant weight. A loss to A&M doesn't bury UTSA's 2025, but another loss to TXST very well could. Let me know your take in the replies!

Question for Texas Longhorn fans in San Antonio: What would UTSA Football have to do to EARN or CONVERT your viewership on Saturdays? I feel like in order for UTSA to make an even bigger splash in SA, they’ll need to convert some Aggies and Longhorns to Roadrunner supporters.

UTSA working with Teamworks GM is a positive move. With rev-share being so important, this feels like a proactive step, instead of our usual reactive responses. The infrastructure around athlete pay at UTSA is starting to come together. Good to see it happening. 👏🏾

Is UTSA’s offense drifting too far away from what produced our best football season ever in 2021? UTSA’s rushing production has quietly declined YoY since 2021. Our lead back now averages just 38% of total carries, down from over 50% when McCormick was the lead back. That 2021

The Spurs and UTSA are having very similar problems with getting enough citywide support to fund their ambitious initiatives. When I lived in SA, I felt the sports pride from people. But someone let me know why there’s always so much friction with projects like this?

I think TXST moving to the PAC-12 is great for everyone involved, including UTSA. - I-35 rivalry gains prestige - UTSA will step up to compete for recruits, notoriety, etc. The who’s more prominent discussion is irrelevant. The overall product will determine that in due time.

Excited to join Athlon Sports as a national contributor. I’ll be covering NIL and the evolving financial side of college athletics. My UTSA Football coverage isn’t going anywhere. That’s still home. I'll circle back with more information soon. Appreciate the support!

We talked UTSA’s rev-share allocation a few weeks ago, after the baseball team’s historic season. This image is from the Opendorse NIL report. With these details showing how schools are generally allocating, does this change your mind on how you’d allocate funds for UTSA? 👀

Just published my first piece with Athlon. I looked at how NIL is shaping the future of college football. SEC programs are building $34M rosters. G5 schools? Closer to $4M. That kind of gap doesn’t just change recruiting. It reshapes the entire sport. athlonsports.com/college/nil-da…

I need y’all’s help settling an argument for me. I promised to not share my stance to avoid any biases lol. Is UTSA better off in the dome with larger capacity but the atmosphere is half empty. Or A smaller stadium with a 35k max capacity that appears full every week?

Here are UTSA's new Nike uniforms on CFB 26. I really hope these are concepts and not the real deal. Would kinda suck for our first look at the new Nike uniforms to come from the demo of a game. Hoping to hear something from UTSA soon on this. Thoughts??👀

FSU’s rev-share contracts got exposed. Injury cancellations. Auto-renewals. Fine print that protects the school, not the athlete. This could be happening at any school.👀 Athletes need reps who are protecting their interests. Here’s my latest article. athlonsports.com/college/nil-da…

“UTSA should be worried about competing with teams ahead of them” The REALITY is, we are in no position to compete with them, until the deep pockets in SA come to the table. This player, per year, is making almost half of what UTSA’s (estimated) TOTAL rev-share is annually. 🤯
