Lovely to have played even a small part in such an amazing and collaborative project with some of the best in the business. MIBiG has played a huge role in my research so far and the platform is just getting better.

Amazing day yesterday StrathPharm&Bio hosting our Defra UK funded #DEEPEND project collaborators Muriel Rabone from Natural History Museum and Rima and John from the Cook Islands Seabed Minerals Authority!

One of my best mates from school (now a big anti-vax, conspiracy guy) started a company that sells CBD stuff that I was looking for with the tagline “Good Vibes Only”, but he’s blocked me because I’m a microbiologist, so that’s fun.

Really nice to come down and finally meet Ed from NatureMetrics in person. They’re helping us conduct culture independent analysis of abyssal sediment from our Defra UK funded DEEPEND project. Can’t wait to see these results!
