50.37 for Syd is just mindboggling. Sad Bol is just a horrible sight though - thought she looked off in the semi though. Wonder if there's a touch of illness or injury or just trying to go with Syd broke her? Syd though. Wow.

Just angry seeing The Electric Cinema in this state this morning thanks to Glenbrook Property Developers. The UK's oldest cinema. Left to rot.

Just really pleased to see McColgan and Keith finish that 10,000m. Not the Olympics either would have wanted I'm sure but they're 2024 Olympians.

Birmingham demolished The Exchange Building (1863) for HSBC on the ramp in the 60's. Are we going to let Glenbrook gut the UK's oldest cinema and our historic arts street? Future Brummies will look on us & our council with disgust at the idiocy of repeating our mistakes.

Birmingham's chronically cult heroes Johnny Foreigner return today with album #6 after an 8 yr delay. They're catchier, more interesting & better than ever. How To Be Hopeful adds to a catalogue of songs that stands up to any great band of the last 20yrs open.spotify.com/album/2rX1nhZ6…

Hey Lisa Nandy MP, this is the current state of the UK's oldest cinema thanks to Glenbrook who closed it & want to gut it for a 50 floor tower of build to rent flats. When are you, Shabana Mahmood MP & LeaderofBirmingham going to save a huge piece of Birmingham & UK civic pride?

For 10yrs this has been the view from Birmingham New St. Station Imagine the PR boost for a beleaguered city if Bham City Council & Mayor of the West Midlands liberated the birthplace of BlackSabbath & found The Crown owners who'd re-open it Imagine it hosting Black Sabbath's final gig...

Heritage as a driver for tourism, creative economy, skills, places? Birminghams about to lose the UK's oldest cinema & pub where Black Sabbath invented Heavy Metal. On the same street outside our busiest Train Station. πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ Chris Bryant fancy a chat? [email protected]

Interesting choice. For what it's worth Louie's start is his miles behind where it should be to be a top world class sprinter. If Kilty can tidy it up & maintain Louie's second half it could be a masterstroke. Not sure I'd have left the hot USA climate though.
