Really enjoyable morning on the south coast with the Xempo Running team pacing the sub 55min crew at the #Brighton10k Quite tricky to run an even pace in some very windy conditions, happy to come home in 54.30.

It’s been very hard work but definitely proud of the business we’ve built over the last 13 years. Professional standards with family values.

Really enjoyed a whistle stop trip to Pisa last weekend to be part of the official marathon pace team. Perfect conditions for running I was delighted to bring home the sub 4hr15 crew in 4.14.41. The finish line is pretty iconic and would definitely recommend the event. #Pisa

Family Christmas has started now we’ve seen the brilliant Wicked Productions Aladdin panto @emftheatre It’s been a Christmas Eve tradition for Edie since 2017 and she’s absolutely loved being part of the cast for the last 2 years. Guaranteed family fun. #Boombox #DoYourEarsHangLow

Last day to take advantage of the early bird pricing for the Paddock Wood Half Marathon. Friendly event organised by the runners of Paddock Wood AC and incorporating the Kent Championships. Pacers, chip timing, free race photography, changing, refreshments and a fast course.

Really enjoyed my running in 2023, official pacer at some amazing races including the London, Berlin, Rome, Manchester, Brighton and Pisa marathons. Goals for 2024 are to continue pacing and run a couple of races for myself. Targets are a sub 20 minute 5km and sub 3h30 marathon.

Great to see so many members and potential new members down at the track for training tonight with PWAC.

Looking forward to welcoming home all of the finishers of the Paddock Wood Half Marathon in 2 weeks time. A fantastic event put together by club members and volunteers, once again raising money for local charities including the brilliant Air Ambulance Charity Kent Surrey Sussex

*Runners, please do better* One quick rubbish sweep on the course after Sundays half marathon and we picked up over 75 gel wrappers. If you can start the race carrying a full one, you can finish the race carrying an empty one.

Was really great to be back in Rome last weekend as part of the official marathon pace team. A real honour to lead home one of the sub 4hr groups and delighted to come home in 3.59.33. Stunning weather, fantastic crowd support and a route like no other. #RomeMarathon

Favourite part of Rome was following in the footsteps of my Grandad, over 80 years since he stood outside the Colosseum circa 1943. He was 101 a few days back so showing him the pictures and hearing about his time in Italy was very special. 🇮🇹

Really enjoyable second Manchester Marathon on Sunday as part of the official pace team. Proud to lead home the huge sub 4hr group from the yellow wave coming home in 3.59.18. Lots of happy runners hitting their targets. Fantastic support from the crowd and superbly organised event.

Looking forward to being part of the official TCS London Marathon pace team again tomorrow. I’ll be leading home the sub 4hr15 crew from the blue start wave 11. It will be my 50th marathon and 20th as an official pacer. Good luck to everyone else running and huge team of volunteers.

Two weeks already since another amazing day TCS London Marathon Honoured once again to be part of the official pace team leading home the sub 4hr15 crew and coming home in 4.14.41. As always, the volunteers and crowds were epic, it really is the greatest race. #LondonMarathon

Really enjoyable but painful Worthing 10k last Sunday. Beautiful conditions on the coast but went off way too quick to see if I could hold it, I couldn’t! My first non-paced 10k in over 5 years. Home in 42.25 which was 3 minutes quicker than my last outing so plenty of positives.

A brilliant weekend BMW BERLIN-MARATHON and an honour to be part of the official pace team for their 50th anniversary event. Pacing sub 3:45 I was delighted to bring it home in 3:44:35. Perfect conditions for those racing and amazing support throughout the city. #BerlinMarathon

Sunday 9th March at 10am. Just over 16 weeks until the 2025 Paddock Wood Half Marathon and entries are currently at 600 runners. We expect to sell out so why not take advantage of the early bird pricing or consider a race entry for a Christmas present. #FunFlatFast
