Theres a radio ad by the NHS tackling school absenteeism. It says that your child might have a cough,runny nose or cold, but unless they have a temp above 38.5 'theyre probably good to go'. Bit of a turn around from asymptomatic testing & shutting the whole school down isnt it 🤔

Just had a sip of Amaretto, my 1st drink in exactly 10 wks, during which Ive been on a mission, walking 3 hrs a day. Just over a stone lost. First stage of the plan accomplished & the reward was always going to be an Xmas day drink & again new years eve. Then it's part 2. Cheers

Heard an advert on the radio for scratch cards & the actors saying they like to hide them in the crackers. Spent the next 10 mins of my walk wondering what was so special about crackers that they needed an adrenaline hit when they made some cheese n crackers. Then it clicked! 🤣

Bumped into the active 80 yr old lollipop lady today,been missing weeks with shingles. Looked awful,could hardly walk.

I've seen occasional posts about huge car insurance increases but not took much notice as I'm one to always shop around so I just thought people weren't doing this. Anyway the cheapest I can find is a FIFTY PERCENT INCREASE on last year! They really are trying to finish us off!

We have today been advised that staff and patients should wear a mask in all NHS premises. This will include the flu clinics. So we are asking all patients, unless you are medically exempt, to please wear a face mask when coming into surgery
