9 of the last 10 senior championships in both football & hurling in Sligo have been won by dual clubs (Easkey, Coolera/Strandhill, Tourlestrane, Calry/St Joseph's). The exceptions - St Mary's (2014 foot) and Naomh Eoin (2019 hurl) are 2 clubs with a big crossover of dual players.

Two new schools taking part in Connacht GAA hurling competitions for the first time today - Coola PPS from Sligo GAA and St. Clare's Comprehensive School from Leitrim GAA - thanks to Mr Raymond and Ms Bolger for giving the youngsters the opportunity.
