I love Mirko as much as anyone else BUT she's often propped up as MHA's best written female character when she's very much not. She's entertaining and has a strong personality but her writing starts and stops at "badass unwavering hero". Mt. Lady genuinely is more compelling.

Quite honestly, not many tropes piss me off. Most of the time my eyes roll at audience reaction to tropes cuz they either just fundamentally misunderstand the function of the trope or it's just pseudo-intelectuals acting turning their noses up as if trope = bad/lazy writing.

Mirko gets hyped up as MHA's best female character just for being badass and I love her as much as anyone but Mt. Lady blows her out of the water in writing and Ochako and Toga even more.
