I recently sent out a proposal for a Webflow project which took almost the entire day only to be ghosted by the client for the past 2 weeks. Has this ever happened to anyone else?

Quite a few of my clients keep their cameras off during calls, and I do the same. I feel like calls are a bit less stressful this way. What do you think?

Freelancers, do you charge referral fees? I often refer other freelancers to my clients but I've never charged them a fee. I wonder if this makes sense or I'm just leaving money on the table.

I converted all Webflow site images to AVIF only to discover that they don't appear Safari. Is there any workaround? If not, why is AVIF the default Webflow compression is it isn't even supported by Safari?

Did anyone try implementing Rive files inside a Webflow project? The embed aspect ratio is not consistent with the original Rive canvas, and the resolution is not as sharp as a Lottie file.

I worked for months on a company redesign and rebrand. Now the company has been acquired. The mother company wants us to redesign the site again to make it look theirs. I'm trying to convince them otherwise. Any experience with this type of situation?

The new CMS workflow in Webflow is extremely confusing. If you "Save" a CMS item, it gets saved as Draft so it won't appear on the published site. This issue has happened to a couple of my clients already.

I'd love to see a motion design tool that is: integrated with Figma, browser-based, and powerful enough to create 2-3 minute-long videos.
