I'm thrilled to see 42-b3yond-6ugs performing so well! Though I can't be in #aixcc to celebrate with my team, I deeply appreciate each member's countless sleepless nights and hard work. It’s all paying off.

We’ve had more than 12,000 of you come through the AIxCC City this week DEF CON and watch as our teams secure it. We’re now an hour away from the results. I’ll be announcing the AIxCC Semifinal Results on Track 1/Track 2 at 12:30 today with Andrew Carney of ARPA-H.

The Pentagon is one step closer to building autonomous mechanics that can find and fix vulnerabilities in the world’s digital underbelly — and all it took was a few million dollars and a contest with some of the best and brightest at hacker summer camp. At this weekend’s DEF CON

Love the excitement for fixing real vulnerabilities 🎉🎉🎉 And nothing says critical code like SQLite which is in your browser, phone, computer, car, electric grid, and most likely the airplane that took you home from DEF CON

Really couldn’t have said it better myself. So overwhelmed and encouraged by the number of teams who invested their time, energy, and resources into building systems that can improve our national security posture. They are the spirit and success of #AIxCC. And now, Finals!

#Vulnerability reporting is a complex web. It’s important to expedite patching requirements while also honoring the inherent benefits of transparent communication and disclosures. Another reason why efforts like #AIxCC are so critical!

It has been a long road to get here. Since 2016, National Institute of Standards and Technology has tested and evaluated 69 #quantum-resistant algorithms, submitted by the world’s top #cryptographic experts. So excited to see the release of three post-quantum encryption standards that industry can begin to incorporate!
