The amount of criticism Yumna & Dekh Zara Pyar Se have already received (a lot of them personal attacks) one would think the show came out last Ramzaan.

Next episode's promo shows Zeba's mother peddling the same narrative about reputation once she learns her daughter is trying to quit a miserable life. My BP can't take this. #kafeel

Interesting how #AikAurPakeezah portrays Aliya seeing Pakeezah more as her husband’s daughter than her own, shaped by the bond they once shared. Typically, the burden of disciplining is often on mothers, fathers reward, & sometimes that makes mothers feel like they come second.

What a fantastic episode of #AikAurPakeezah. The whole system is against Pakeezah's right to seek justice, but thankfully she has imperfect allies to help her get through this. #SeharKhan continues to shine. Her best performance till date.

Low-key intrigued with the name math. Hamza: officially Ali, professionally Zee, but to his mom he’s Zoraiz. Yumna: Rumaila, aka Rumi on her dad’s side, and Mala to her nana. Hope this leads to comedy of errors. #DekhZaraPyarSe

Both Rumi & Zoraiz carry baggage from their parents. Rumi of finite love, which leaves her questioning whether love is even real. Zoraiz of unconditional love, making him believe there’s one person meant for him. Same, same, but very different. #DekhZaraPyarSe

Too soon to judge but the humour isn't as sharp as I would like, but again this is just the debut episode. The setup is good & I like that Yumna's character isn't a one-tone sunshine girl. The conflicts are real. So far, I'm curious enough. #DekhZaraPyarSe

“Maybe he doesn’t love me anymore. Besides, who would love Pakeezah anymore? It’s nobody’s fault. It’s just that Pakeezah went viral.” #AikAurPakeezah

I am so tired of seeing female PTV actresses being hated on this app. And often the criticism doesn't stick to just the acting or their craft. From character assassination to body, age shaming to outright staying stuff like she looks "mentally ill". This is incel behaviour.
