A satisfying week up 0.5% and 20% cash which feels about right heading into the quiet months. Being careful now to safeguard gains from the first six months focusing only on my best ideas.

So we head into Summer, with the markets likley to be in directionless slop mode. The institutional traders away on their vacations re-chargeing their batteries. Expect a few sharp swings on low volumes. I am ready for a FTSE pullback. Or not. Presently in cautious mode.

Liontrust today sitting at 360 12.5% down since I sold last week. So adjusted in keeping with the dividend. I was optimistic for a more favorable re-enty point but have never the less hopped back in at 360 for a medium term hold. #LIO

#BME interesting update. FMCG under presure as price comparison with other retailers must be favourable. Once customer decides B&M's prices are "cheap" they are comfortable to spend in the higher margin isles. Thus I welcome news of aditional high margin lines.
