iOS xe 17.16 is out. Definitely a specific release for specific features only. No wifi 7 support yet in it. iOS 17.15.2 should be preferred in all cases. 17.16 is the first release that drops the legacy iOS numbering for ap images though. Finally !

This year we do WPA3 only on the Cisco live SSID. We provide a legacy wpa2 SSID and will be curious to see what devices will require the legacy connection. It’s 2025 ! Let’s move forward

This year at Cisco Live Amsterdam we do IPv6-mostly. If your device support it, it will not get an ipv4 from the network but will do CLAT to translate your ipv4only apps to v6. That’s another « first » on top of the main wpa3 ssid

What else are we doing in terms of network at Cisco Live Amsterdam ? Wi-Fi 7 full coverage of Hall5 with an Enhanced Open SSID of course !

This year less than 10% of the users are WpA2. 90% and more of the clients benefit from WPA3 security. Your traffic is safe here . #CiscoLiveEMEA

Ciscolive EMEA was also the opportunity to meet the other CX wireless engineers from other European sites and an opportunity to say goodbye properly to those who are leaving. When colleagues all become friends you know you are in the right place
