And Part 2 of the afternoon Data Blitz session: AISH students Jack Manners and Darah-Bree Benson-Boakes #ASR21 Flinders University

A massive thank you to Alex Sweetman and all co-authors involved in my first publication. I greatly appreciate the time and knowledge invested by all into this paper. The entire process was an amazing learning opportunity for myself that I will value highly.

We have Darah-Bree who is a honours student from Adelaide Institute for Sleep Health for this week's SPOTLIGHT. Her project examines subjective-objective sleep discrepancies in co-morbid insomnia and sleep apnoea.

Meet one of our newest PhD candidates, Darah-Bree We're so glad we convinced her to stay on as part of the AISH team!

The term sleep-state misperception can be problematic in insomnia treatment, as it can imply implicit, if not explicit, blame. We argue here that "sleep-wake state discrepancy" should be used instead. Darah-Bree Hannah Scott @DrNicoleLovato Bei Bei academic.oup.com/sleep/advance-…

Language matters! A collaboration led by Darah-Bree with @DrNicoleLovato, Hailey Meaklim, PhD, DBSM and Bei Bei on the terms used to describe a classic sleep phenomenon commonly seen in people with insomnia

Privileged to have co-chaired the #imsomnia session at #SDU2022 with Nicole Grivell RN 👏🏻 fabulous presentations by Alex Sweetman Jenny Haycock Hailey Meaklim, PhD, DBSM Darah-Bree Elliot Brooker, Andrea Narayan & William Saunders

New paper! A review led by Darah-Bree on device-delivered Intensive Sleep Retraining to treat insomnia. Free full-text access via this link: authors.elsevier.com/a/1gZGk,ZOtjye…

SDU23 Ending day 2 with Darah-Bree making us all think about what the real issues are with home sleep devices (spoiler: it’s vacuums). A great talk on the Sleep-Wake state discrepancy in the home across multiple nights #SDU23

4/5: It was great to chair sessions on circadian rhythms and shift work. Loved diving into these crucial topics with passionate experts. Dayna Easton Darah-Bree Dr Charlotte Gupta DP Nguyen
