Finished Water 7...yeah, y'all were right about this one. Probably the first time One Piece has really gotten serious and dark for an extended period of time, and I love it. The plot twists, the new characters (Iceberg and Kokoro my beloved), the writing etc are all great. 10/10.

Happy Birthday Monkey D. Luffy. Out of every Anime I've seen, I've never seen a character as positive and enduring as him. Just watching such a happy, enthusiastic, and unbothered guy just gives you the strength to handle anything in stride. He's definitely a favourite of mine.

So I just watched Robin's backstory and...yeah it broke me. I'm not ashamed to admit I cried, first time this show has gotten me this upset. I couldn't even sleep at night after watching it. Robin is my fav Strawhat after Luffy, I want her so bad to be happy. Enies Lobby is PEAK.

Happy Birthday George Lucas, one of the most influential filmmakers of all time. Those who know me well know Star Wars was a big influence on me growing up, and it's all thanks to this guy, a genius who created such a timeless and rich world, that will forever be remembered.

It's officially been 45 years since The Empire Strikes Back graced our screens. To this day it stands the test of time as probably the greatest movie Sequel of all time, and one of the greatest movies of all time. The pacing, the tone etc everything is top tier. 10/10 movie fr.

I finished Enies Lobby...yeah I cried over the damm boat which is something I never thought I would ever say. This and Water 7 are by far the peaks of One Piece in my journey so far, and I reckon it'll be hard to top either of them. 10/10, peak Shonen storytelling all-around.

Now that I've finished Enies Lobby I can now confidently rank the Strawhats from my favourite to least favourite. Of course, I love them all but I don't see my favs changing anytime soon. Luffy, Robin, and Usopp are too dear to me at this point. Also yes, Merry is a Strawhat.

I have...mixed opinions on this. Obviously, it could be a lot worse. It's a talking anthropomorphic reindeer, it will never not look weird in live action, and ngl this is probably the best they could do. The voice does throw me off a lot but it's a good enough attempt I guess...

It seems the return of Uruha has sparked a bit of controversy in the Kagurabachi fandom. Normally, I would be against character revivals, but this is a special case. We barely got to spend any time with him before his "death" so if it's executed well, I'm completely fine with it.

Happy Birthday Shinji Ikari. To this day I have never seen a more Human and relatable character in an Anime. He's flawed, he's nuanced, he's morally dubious, but most of all, he's-one-of-a-kind. No other character can accomplish what Shinji has, and I wholeheartedly mean that.

I'm currently on the Thriller Bark arc of One Piece and so I decided to make this Tierlist of the arcs I have finished so far. My rankings fluctuate quite a bit so this may change as I rewatch certain arcs, but this is how I feel rn. Even the bottom few arcs are 7/10s btw.

Do y'all find it funny that this guy showed up out of nowhere near the end of the show, spouted some vague nonsense about the Lilin culture or some shit, beat all the test records, rizzed up Shinji, and killed himself with this goofy-ass grin on his face like bruh why u so happy?

Solid cover, I'm really loving Hirihiko's colour scheme, the red eyes match Chihiro's very well. Love the Iori focus too since this Volume will have her and Samura's backstory in it. My only real gripe is that Samura is missing but it's okay since he was in the previous two.

I'm Halfway through Thriller Bark rn and it might already be one of my fav arcs. It's a lot of fun and so unique. Brook is an excellent addition and Moria is a surprisingly engaging villain. Oars is also hilarious. The atmosphere and humour are already making it top-tier for me.

Due to the fact that I'm watching One Piece rn, I've decided to watch the other two Big Three shows too. I have seen Naruto and Bleach a long time ago but I've forgotten most things. I've already finished the first arc of Bleach and it's...decent ig. I'll start Naruto soon too.

Ok this Chainsaw Man trailer looks crazy. I do miss the Season 1 animation style, but apparently this emulates the Manga a bit better so it's fine. I do think this current era of Anime movies relies too much on Non-Canon filler, so it's good that this is a real arc being adapted.

Ok I just found out that they are making a Season 2 of Cyberpunk Edgerunners with a new standalone story, and leme just say that I'm so down for this. Season 1 was a PROPER tearjerker but I loved the worldbuilding too, so I'm hyped for some new untold stories in this world.

Y'all NEED to keep your eyes on this. As someone who is caught up to the Manga, I can confidently say that Arakawa still has the same level of writing talent she had back in her Fullmetal days. This story is completely different though, and it will be exciting to see animated.

Kagurabachi is so beautiful. The payoff of Samura finally opening his eyes, both literally and symbolically, to a new future where he doesn't have to die, hits so hard after all the buildup. It's so impressive for a Shonen to pull off this type of emotional climax this early on.

Finally finished Thriller Bark. This arc was so damm fun. It had a surprising amount of depth and great comedy to balance it out. Every Strawhat got a chance to shine (especially Usopp and Zoro) and the emotional beats hit HARD (Brook and Cindry). Easily a top 3 arc so far! 9/10.
